Thanks for the contact, hopefully the body shall be off in the next couple of weeks to get a closer look, i was looking at galvanising but recently came across http://www.surfaceprocessing.co.uk/for-cars.html who are quite local to me so may go down this option instead once the rotton rails are replaced, hopefully we can meet up once i am sorted (or when i need some advise when i get stuck),

Thanks for the info Martyn. I've saved SPL in my favourites. Very useful and in Dudley! I work in Wolverhampton.
